Now this is definitely exciting news! Sun Cellular is now offering BlackBerry Bold 9700 and the BlackBerry Curve 8520! Most of us know Sun Cellular as one of the most affordable local telcos. It will be pretty interesting to see how much they will package this with their unlimited prepaid and very nice postpaid plans. My only complaint with Sun Cellular is their coverage. I was in Zamboanga a few weeks ago and I barely had signal. Hopefully they can expand with more cell sites in the coming. Read the full press release after the break.

Sun Cellular and Research In Motion Launch BlackBerry Internet Service in the Philippines

I tried checking the Sun Cellular website for prices but it’s not posted yet. Hopefully they’ll release it soon. I’ve been wanting to get a second phone for months now and it looks like I’ll finally get to do just that.
