BlackBerry Torch 9800 Social and RSS Feeds

One of the cool features of the BlackBerry Torch 9800 is the Social/RSS Feeds application. It’s a unified alerts system for messengers (MSN, Yahoo, Google Talk, etc) and your social networking accounts (Facebook, Twitter, MySpace, etc). This makes life a whole lot easier since you don’t have to log-in every account all the time just to check if there’s a new update. Here’s a short 1-minute demo video that I made.

I hope that the Social Fields feature will be available for all phones that have the BlackBerry 6 OS. :)

Unboxing the BlackBerry Torch 9800

I currently have a review unit Research In Motion’s flagship handset, the BlackBerry Torch 9800. This was locally officially launched via a media briefing a few weeks ago but there’s no news yet on when the local carriers will actually offer them. There’s also no news yet on the prices. I’ll be writing a couple of articles about my experience with the BlackBerry Torch but for now here are some of the unboxing photos.

BlackBerry Torch 9800 Hands On Review Coming Soon

I just got word that we will be able to check out a review unit of the BlackBerry Torch 9800 pretty soon! I’m excited for this because I’ve been very interesting with the Torch since it was globally announced several months ago. I’ll post pictures, videos, and more once I get to try the unit out.
