During the BlackBerry 7 Philippines Media Event, RIM also presented the BlackBerry Torch 9860 to the media, bloggers, and fans in attendance. The BlackBerry Torch 9860 is a full touchscreen phone that doesn’t have a slide-out keypad like the BlackBerry Torch 9800. It’s a pretty sleek phone that’s made for people who really prefer touchscreen over the BlackBerry QWERTY keypad experience.

BlackBerry Bold 9900 to hit PH October 7 for Php31,690

RIM Execs introduce the BlackBerry Bold 9900

BlackBerry Bold 9900 will be officially available in the Philippines starting October 7 with a price tag of Php31,690. The new Bold was launched alongside the new BlackBerry Torch 9860 and BlackBerry Curve 9360 during a media event earlier this evening at the Ayala Museum. The new Torch and Curve don’t have a price yet though and release date.

Phil Younghusband for BlackBerry Messenger

BlackBerry 9700/9780 Dock

With the popularity of BlackBerry smartphones in the Philippines it was only natural for more shops to start selling accessories. For the longest time I’ve been looking for charging docks and it was nice to finally find the original BlackBerry 9700/9780 charging dock in Greenhills (Theater Mall). You just place the phone on it, plug the charger to the power outlet, and connect it with the dock. It’s sold for Php1,650 and there are only limited stocks available.
