BlackBerry PlayBook for Business (Video Demo)

RIM is pulling out all the stops in trying to build anticipation for their tablet. They’ve been aggressively marketing through social media (most noticeably Youtube) the past few months. A new video was recently uploaded and this time it shows how the BlackBerry PlayBook interacts with your BlackBerry smartphone. It looks like the two gadgets are really complimentary for one another. This will make the tablet choice easy for those who are BlackBerry owners. The experience is just seamless! Watch the video below for more details.

Say it with me: I LIKEEEYYYYY! :)

RIM Co-Ceo Mike Lazaridis demos the BlackBerry PlayBook (All Things Digital Event)

Research In Motion (RIM) Co-CEO Mike Lazaridis showed off the highly anticipated BlackBerry PlayBook at an event hosted by All Things Digital. In his demo, Mike focused on two things: Multi-tasking and the ability to run Flash programs like Adobe Air. RIM has been very consistent in communicating these key messages and it looks like they’re trying to focus on this because these are the features that the Apple iPad doesn’t offer. Anyway, watch the video below.

Lastly, Mike also shared that RIM is working on several sizes for the PlayBook. Maybe there’s a chance we can see a 10-inch model similar to the iPad.

The BlackBerry PlayBook should be released Q1 2011.

BlackBerry PlayBook Demo [Video]

The BlackBerry PlayBook is turning out to be a very strong challenger to the Apple iPad. RIM isn’t doing a good job at beating down the biased reviews of global popular tech blogs but the product is looking really awesome. In the video you’ll watch below you’ll see David Neale, RIM Vice President for Special Projects, sharing how REAL MULTITASKING is supposed to run on a tablet. For those of you who don’t know, the Apple iPad’s “multitasking” is really more of a task manager program because when you switch apps the apps you leave behind freeze. They don’t actually run. Neale also shares with us 1080p video and some of the early UI controls. Video was taken during the Rogers TabLife event.

Hopefully RIM delivers on it’s promise to launch this baby by March 2011!
